Philosophy
You've listened for "the" tone in every
guitar you've ever owned or ever
played. You've tried every pickup you
could get your hands on. You've tried
different amps, speakers, cords, tubes,
rack effects and stomp box after stomp
box. Still something has been missing.
Where is the clarity, warmth and
presence? Tired of the compressed tone
that comes out of your amp? It all
starts with the pickup. Your amp and
effects can only do so much with the
signal that is sent from your guitar.

These pickups are not  vintage replicas,
they are made to be played through
high gain amps, loud, at stage volumes.
If you have a high quality amp and
guitar, these are the pickups that will
inspire you to play your best. All
Monster Tone pickups are handwound
and asembled.
        That is the difference.

Your Music is hand made isn't it?

These pickups are for Hard Rock,
Metal and Beyond. Monster tone does
not make pickups for any other style.
From the
Neo neck pickup that suits the
earliest of hard rocks roots  ( think 68
to 74 ) turn the volume down and get
stunning clear tones. Or turn it up and
get progressive, it can handle complex
chording and single note runs.
Or the Hard Rock bridge that has
harmonics, growl and grind ( think 78
to 84 ) and yet a presence and clarity
that has not been in any other pickup.
Turn the volume knob down, tapped
harmonics and 6th chords have never
sounded better. Turn it up and you're
on fire.

Next the Metal bridge, this pickup has
warmth and definition and yet
a distorted grind that makes use of the
over tones to create a moving rolling
distortion. It has a sharper attack for
fast riffing and start / stop
musical movements.
Now enter the Morgue, this bridge
humbucker has gain and more. Without
the cold brittleness and compression
associated with higher output pickups.
These are stand alone pickups, they do
not coil split, reverse phase and are
not designed to be played together.
These pickups are made so when you
find the sweet spot on your amp with
tone and volume you can change from
bridge to neck without changing any
settings.
Your volume knob with the neck and
hard rock humbucker, is now a master
control for searing riffs and leads
or clean intros and passages. Control
your amp from your guitar.

So if you have a good guitar, and an amp
that has been biased and retubed and
you are still disapointed in your tone,
then you will understand why Monster
tone pickups were developed.
                    Monster tone guitar pickups
are a division of  Performance Lab
pickups are tested and designed for use
with 500K pots. Pickups are 2 conductor only.
